Product Description


Tramazole 10% w/v is a broad spectrum multi-purpose anthelmintic containing Albendazole 10% w/v and is used for the control of mature and developing immature forms of gastrointestinal roundworms, lungworms, tapeworms and adult liver fluke in sheep and cattle. Tramazole 10% w/v is ovicidal and will kill fluke and worm eggs, thus reducing pasture contamination.

Dosing Guide


Cattle
Worm dose: (7.5mg Albendazole per kg) 7.5ml Tramazole per 100kg bodyweight
Fluke and worm dose: (10mg Albendazole per kg) 10ml Tramazole per 100kg bodyweight
Sheep
Worm dose: (5mg Albendazole per kg) 1ml Tramazole per 20kg bodyweight
Fluke and Worm Dose: (7.5mg Albendazole per kg) 1.5ml Tramazole per 20kg bodyweight

Withdrawal


Meat and Offal

Cattle: 14 days after last treatment

Sheep: 4 days after last treatment

Milk

Cows: 60 hours after last treatment

Sheep: Do not use in sheep producing milk for human consumption

Additional Info


  • Do not dose ewes at the “Fluke and Worm” dose rate of 7.5mg per kg bodyweight during tupping or for 1 month after removing the rams.
  • Tramazole 10% w/v can be safely used during lactation.
  • The use of Tramazole 10% w/v in breeding bulls or pregnant cattle is not expected to interfere with their reproductive performance.
