Univet is a leading manufacturer of veterinary pharmaceutical products, dedicated to producing high-quality treatments for animal health. As part of our continued growth, we seek Packaging Line Operatives to join our evening shift team.

Job Summary:

As a Packaging Line Operative, you will be responsible for packaging, labelling, and inspecting veterinary pharmaceutical products to ensure they meet strict quality and safety standards. This role requires attention to detail, efficiency, and the ability to work in a regulated environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Operate packaging machinery and follow standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Assemble, pack, and label veterinary pharmaceutical products accurately.
  • Inspect products and packaging for defects, ensuring compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and quality control standards.
  • Record production data and report any issues to the supervisor.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with health and safety policies.
  • Work as part of a team to achieve daily production targets.

Key Requirements:

Experience & Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in a packaging, production, or manufacturing environment is an advantage but not essential.
  • Experience working in a pharmaceutical, food, or medical device industry is desirable.

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions precisely.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good teamwork and communication skills.
  • Physically capable of standing for long periods and performing repetitive tasks.
  • Basic numeracy and literacy skills for record-keeping and labelling.
