Product Description


Terrexine LC Intramammary Suspension for lactating cows is a product containing two antibiotics: Cefalexin monohydrate and Kanamycin monosulphate.  It is used to treat clinical mastitis in lactating dairy cows caused by bacteria susceptible to this combination such as Staphylococcus aureus, Streptococcus dysgalactiae, Streptoccus uberis and Escherichia coli.

  • Use one syringe per infected quarter after milking and repeat at the next milking

Administration

  • Before infusion, it is important that the teat should be thoroughly cleaned and disinfected
  • Care should be taken to avoid contamination of the injector nozzle
